Techniques: The Cross is Crazy pieced with many fancy machine stitches. It's a "royal" theme, so I decided to use satins and sheers as fabrics. It also has beads and crystals for sparkle. The quilting on this quilt is some of my better effort.

A dear friend, Rick Knapp, brought me some photos for my consideration and I chose this shot of cheetahs to make a quilt.
Techniques: Cheetahs are ultra-suede with ink details and then appliquéd, background is many black prints applied in mosaic fashion. Heavily quilted, bead accents.
