Merry Christmas-

I'm blessed to have enjoyed a wonderful Celebration at church last week and this coming Sunday is Christmas.  How grateful I am to God for the Special Gift of Jesus.

Here is my quilt "Long Road to Bethlehem", which hangs in my home this year.  I hope your family enjoys a happy Christmas season.

It looks black in the photo, but actually there are very dark shades of blue and red added to the black.

then of course the quilting adds alot.  Expecially to the hair.

Filling in details a little at a time--hair--her hand.  Just a little here and there as I work along.

Then I start on Mom's face...looks like I dried it and added a little detail before I took the picture.

Beginning to make a little more sense.
